RBQ-licensed excavation and foundation contractors in Saguenay

47 businesses based in Saguenay hold an RBQ licence with no restriction whose subcategories cover excavation and foundations work (2.6, 3.1).

Random order, reshuffled every day: this is not a ranking or a recommendation. A licence doesn't guarantee quality: ask for quotes and references, and get a written contract.

Only subcategory 2.6, 3.1 is used here, because the RBQ assesses experience before granting it. Subcategory 2.5, 2.7, 3.2 is granted without that assessment to most contractors.

The town is where the business is based, not necessarily where it works. Individual contractors (3) aren't listed here; the finder includes them, without contact details.

Before you sign

  1. Check the RBQ licence and its subcategories at the time you sign. The licence number must appear on the quote and the contract.

  2. Get at least 3 written quotes and compare the work, materials, schedule, price and warranties.

  3. Insist on a detailed written contract: the exact company name (matching the licence), licence number, NEQ, full address, dates, description of the work and materials, total price, payment terms and liability insurance.

  4. Pay the smallest deposit possible and pay as the work progresses, keeping a final payment for the end. You don't have to pay the price before the work is accepted.
